First of all, Attack is a time attack event for tuning cars.
The event itself is held all over Japan in various locations, including Attack Tohoku (Sportsland SUGO), Attack Suzuka (Suzuka Circuit), Attack Fuji (Fuji Speedway), and Attack Okayama (Okayama International Circuit).
Among these, I think Attack Tsukuba at Tsukuba Circuit is very special.

The mornings at the circuit are early, and the place is crowded with people from early morning.
Participants prepare their vehicles for the day. They are in the process of making final adjustments in order to set a new personal record in the Tsukuba Circuit time attack.
This year, I felt that there were many vehicles participating in the event. I think this is a proof that this Attack event has grown a lot.
I myself have been driving on the circuit, and I felt frustrated that I could not be there as a participant.
I felt the seriousness of the people who participated in this event.

The cars participating in the Attack have a kind of strange aura about them in the way they stand.
I think this is what makes these cars so cool.

Once the car started to drive on the circuit, I kept looking at it and forgot to take a picture…
That’s how much I concentrate on this event.
Next time, I will make sure to take pictures with my camera so that this does not happen again.

Although not a record for this event, Escort and Yoshiki Ando achieved the feat of breaking the 50-second barrier with a time of 49.897 seconds at the Tsukuba Circuit. We are deeply impressed by their performance, which left a strong impact on us as well as their overwhelming time.
